Olivia Dean’s ascent
Dean’s debut Messy hit No. 4 on the UK charts, earning her Mercury Prize and BRIT nods. She’s since gone from festival highlights at Glastonbury to supporting Sam Fender and preparing to tour North America with Sabrina Carpenter.
Her new album The Art of Loving, out 26 September, follows a string of singles already making noise, Nice to Each Other peaked at No. 10, while Man I Need is tipped to climb even higher. We’ve already broken down everything you need to know about the album, so dive in before the tour takes off.
The biggest step yet
From our profile on Olivia Dean, we know she thrives on intimacy, the kind of songwriting that makes arenas feel small. Which is exactly why this tour matters. It’s not just scale for the sake of it; it’s her chance to test how far that intimacy can stretch.
Judging by the speed of those sell-out presales, she’s ready.
