An iconic piece of London’s live music history is being revitalized this summer. A brand-new festival series, Palace Bowl Presents, is officially coming to the historic Crystal Palace Bowl, locking in an incredibly diverse, star-studded lineup of global headliners spanning across three weekends from Friday 31st July to Sunday 16th August 2026.
The series kicks off in spectacular fashion on Friday 31st July with the legendary Grace Jones leading a night of unmatched pop and soul alongside Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Soul II Soul. The opening weekend continues with the Mahrajan Festival on August 1st and a massive Sunday soul-stirring event on August 2nd as Gospel Garden presents Kirk Franklin. Midweek, the legendary Sir Tom Jones takes the stage on Wednesday 5th August with special guest Billy Ocean, followed by an electronic and new wave masterclass on Thursday 6th August featuring Gary Numan, Marc Almond, and Ladytron.
While Friday 7th August’s City Pop Waves presents Masayoshi Takanaka and Friday 14th August’s Davido & Friends dates are already completely sold out, the rest of the calendar is packed with major highlights. The world-renowned Roots Picnic will take over the venue for a two-day residency on 8th–9th August. Pop-rock powerhouses Bastille & The Wombats join forces for a huge joint date on Thursday 13th August, followed by a massive rock weekend featuring rock icon Lenny Kravitz alongside Joss Stone on Saturday 15th August, and a huge emo/alternative finale on Sunday 16th August headlined by Jimmy Eat World and Rise Against.
Originally established in 1961, the historic Crystal Palace Bowl famously hosted Bob Marley’s final ever London performance.
