Shed Seven’s Shedcember Is Back — and the Tenth Edition Is Going to Be Something Special

Twenty-one dates across the UK this November and December, with The Academic along for the ride.

There are tours, and then there’s Shedcember. Since Shed Seven first launched their winter run back in 2007, it has grown into something that operates on a different emotional frequency to your average gig — a seasonal ritual for a fanbase that turns up every year like it’s the most important night of the calendar. For the tenth edition, Shedcember X, the band are going bigger than ever, with 21 dates spanning the UK from Nottingham Rock City on 13th November all the way through to Leeds O2 Academy on 12th December.

The timing couldn’t feel more earned. In 2024, Shed Seven made chart history by landing their first ever number one album with A Matter Of Time, followed just ten months later by a second number one with Liquid Gold — placing them alongside The Beatles, Elton John and David Bowie as one of the few acts to achieve that in a single calendar year. Then came Glastonbury 2025, described by MOJO as a triumphant return, a number one trend on Twitter following their BBC iPlayer broadcast, and a Best Live Act win at the Independent Music Awards voted for by fans. They arrive at Shedcember X at the peak of their powers, and they know it.

“We can’t wait to get out there up and down the UK and soak up what is a unique atmosphere at a Shed Seven gig,” says lead singer Rick Witter. “Expect the big hits along with a few surprises and the thrill of us all singing our hearts out together for a couple of hours. See you down the front.”

Expect Going For Gold, Chasing Rainbows, Disco Down, On Standby and Talk Of The Town, as well as a career-spanning set packed with the moments that have made these shows what they are. Irish indie band The Academic — multiple number one albums in their home country — will join across all dates as special guests, which is a pairing worth getting there early for.

Marking the occasion, guitarist Paul Banks has written and directed a fan-focused film celebrating ten years of Shedcember, capturing the essence of what these shows mean to the people who keep coming back. It’s worth a watch before tickets go on sale.

And on that — presale opens Wednesday 22nd April at 10am for those signed up to the band’s mailing list. General sale follows Friday 24th April at 10am. The full routing is below.
