If you like your punk loud, fast, and unfiltered, March 2026 just became your favourite month. Atlanta’s fierce five-piece Upchuck have announced their debut Australian and New Zealand tour, bringing their raw, politically-charged sound to five cities across the two countries. From intimate venues to a festival stage, this tour marks their first ever run down under, and it’s set to be nothing short of electric.

Presented by I OH YOU and MG Live, the tour kicks off in Brisbane before tearing through Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Wellington. In between, the band will make a special appearance at Victoria’s iconic Golden Plains festival. Tickets go on sale Monday 27 October at 10am local time, with an MG Live presale starting Friday 24 October. Fans can register now at mg.live/upchuck for early access.

Upchuck first burst out of Atlanta in 2018, formed by a crew of skaters in their early 20s. Since then, they’ve built a cult following with their genre-blending mix of punk, garage rock and bluesy grit. Their live shows are infamous for a reason, loud, relentless, and emotionally raw. This tour follows the release of I’m Nice Now, their third album. It’s a record that doubles down on what Upchuck do best: urgency, attitude and authenticity.

Their discography speaks for itself, but it’s their on-stage presence that’s turned heads across the US and Europe. From a breakout slot at Coachella 2024 to supporting Amyl and the Sniffers, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Faye Webster, Upchuck are quickly earning a reputation as one of the most vital punk acts of their generation.

Each stop on the tour features a standout local opener. In Brisbane, it’s alt-rock newcomers Blue Diner. Sydney gets post-punk outfit Xiao Xiao along with yet-to-be-revealed special guests. Naarm-based punks CLAMM bring their intense live energy to Melbourne. Across the ditch, New Zealand rockers DARTZ join for both Auckland and Wellington shows.

Whether you’re new to the band or a die-hard fan who’s been waiting for an Australian date, this is a rare chance to catch Upchuck in small venues before they inevitably level up to something bigger. It’s loud, it’s sweaty, and it’s unapologetically punk.

Tickets are expected to move fast—especially with limited venue capacity—so jumping on the presale is your best bet for securing a spot.
