Glastonbury 2025: The First Lineup Drop Is Here, and It’s Huge

The countdown to Glastonbury 2025 is on, and in true Glasto fashion, it obviously sold out before the full lineup was even announced. With Worthy Farm set to take a break year in 2026, this is the last chance to experience the festival before its much-needed hiatus. If you managed to get a ticket, congratulations, you’re in for a massive one.

The first wave of the lineup has now been revealed, and it’s safe to say Glasto is going all out. The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, and Neil Young are locked in as Pyramid Stage headliners, with Charli XCX, Loyle Carner, and The Prodigy leading the Other Stage.

Beyond the headliners, there’s a mix of first-time Glasto performers and festival favourites that make this lineup something special.

The Pyramid Stage Headliners Are Set

Friday: The 1975
The moment Matty Healy has been waiting for. After years of speculation and unforgettable festival sets, The 1975 will finally headline the Pyramid Stage. If their recent live shows are anything to go by, expect a theatrical, unpredictable, and high-energy set with a few viral moments thrown in for good measure.

Saturday: Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts
After some initial uncertainty (he briefly pulled out, citing issues with the BBC before swiftly rejoining), Neil Young is set to headline for the second time, following his legendary 2009 performance. Expect a career-spanning set with Harvest Moon inducing some serious emotional moments.

Sunday: Olivia Rodrigo
From performing on the Other Stage in 2022 to closing the entire festival just three years later, Olivia Rodrigo’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Her heartbreak anthems are going to hit even harder under the Sunday night sky.

Also on the Pyramid Stage:

  • Rod Stewart takes the Legends Slot on Sunday, in what promises to be an iconic, nostalgia-packed moment.
  • Raye returns to the Pyramid Stage, this time playing just before Neil Young on Saturday. Her 2023 lunchtime set was a breakthrough moment—this time, she’s taking on the biggest slot of her career so far.

Other Stage Headliners Bringing the Energy

Friday: Loyle Carner
One of the UK’s most thoughtful and compelling artists, Loyle Carner will bring his jazz-infused, deeply personal rap to the Other Stage for a set that will feel both intimate and anthemic.

Saturday: Charli XCX
The BRAT era has taken over, and Charli XCX’s first-ever Glastonbury headline set is about to be pure chaos. If her DJ set in 2024 caused a meltdown, this full-scale show is going to be unmissable.

Sunday: The Prodigy
This will be The Prodigy’s first Glastonbury set since the tragic passing of frontman Keith Flint in 2019, and it’s going to be an emotional, high-energy, full-throttle tribute. If you’re anywhere near the Other Stage for this one, prepare for absolute carnage.

First-Timers to Watch

One of the most exciting things about Glastonbury is watching rising stars step onto Worthy Farm for the first time. This year, we’ve got a huge crop of artists making their debut, including some of 2024’s biggest breakout names.

Noah Kahan
Few artists have had a bigger breakout year than Noah Kahan. His album Stick Season became a cultural phenomenon, and his ability to turn heartbreak into singalongs has seen him sell out arenas across the world. His Glastonbury debut is set to be a massive moment.

Myles Smith
A name that’s been everywhere recently, Myles Smith has carved out a niche with his blend of folk, indie, and pop. His euphoric yet deeply personal songwriting makes him the perfect fit for a festival like Glastonbury.

Gracie Abrams
Fresh from touring with Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams is stepping out of the shadows and proving she’s a star in her own right. Her set will be one for the deep feelers and journal-writers, with introspective lyrics and quietly devastating melodies.

Lola Young
A British singer-songwriter with a raw, powerful voice, Lola Young’s music has been steadily gaining momentum. Her Glastonbury debut will be the perfect introduction for those who haven’t yet discovered her soulful, no-nonsense songwriting.

Other first-timers include:

  • Doechii – Set to headline the West Holts Stage, proving why she’s one of the most exciting new voices in rap.
  • Alanis Morissette – Somehow making her first-ever Glastonbury appearance.
  • Busta Rhymes – An unexpected but absolutely genius booking.
  • Brandi Carlile, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey, Osees, and Gary Numan all making their Worthy Farm debuts.

The Final Chance for Tickets

If you were one of the thousands refreshing your screen in November only to be met with heartbreak, don’t give up hope just yet. There are still resale opportunities coming, so keep your eyes on the official channels.

The Last Glastonbury Before the Break

With Glastonbury taking a break in 2026, this is the last festival until 2027, which means artists, fans, and organisers are going to pull out all the stops.

Expect surprise guests, headline-worthy secret sets, and some of the best festival moments of the decade. If you’re going, get ready to make memories. If you’re not? Time to start plotting for resale.
