Spanish indie rock band Hinds took the stage at Manchester’s Gorilla for their sold-out show, the second stop on their UK tour supporting their new album I Don’t Run. Right from the start, the band’s infectious energy filled the venue as they performed a blend of both old and new tracks, much to the delight of their eager fans.
Opening with the upbeat “The Club,” Hinds quickly had the audience dancing and singing along. Their playful stage presence—beer cans in hand and smiles that never left their faces—kept the vibe fun and light-hearted. The crowd’s enthusiastic response, jumping and singing back every lyric, clearly touched lead singer Carlotta Cosials, who announced, “You guys know the words already, good job!”
Tracks like “Easy” and “Echoing My Name” gave the audience a chance to catch their breath, with moments of calm before the energetic choruses kicked back in. The band surprised fans by how well they already knew the lyrics to new songs such as “Soberland” and “Linda,” creating a sense of unity and excitement in the room.
As the night drew to a close, Hinds returned for an encore with fan favorite “San Diego,” ensuring that the crowd left on a high note, jumping and singing one last time. The night ended with smiles and infectious energy that had everyone buzzing as they headed home.
For fans who missed the Manchester show, Hinds is continuing their UK tour, and tickets are available on their website.
