Rudimental’s Star-Studded Show at Alexandra Palace

On the 26th and 27th of October, Alexandra Palace in London was packed with fans eager to witness the final two dates of Rudimental’s tour. Saturday’s performance, in particular, stood out as one of the most eventful, star-studded concerts outside of a festival setting.

The night opened with the soulful sounds of Olivia, who captivated the audience from the moment she stepped on stage. Her powerful vocals, combined with lighthearted jokes about her songs and inspirations, made for a flawless performance that resonated with everyone.

Next up was RAY BLK, who brought an upbeat energy to the stage with hits like “Run Run”. She had the crowd dancing and singing along, even teaching parts of her chorus to the audience and encouraging them to join in. Her infectious energy set the perfect tone for the night, hyping everyone up for Rudimental’s highly anticipated set.

When Rudimental finally took the stage, they were nothing short of brilliant. From the incredible production design to their vibrant outfits, every aspect of their performance was designed to entertain. The crowd was on their feet, jumping, dancing, and singing along to every song. The excitement reached new heights as special guests, including Anne-Marie, Tom Walker, John Newman, Jess Glynne, Dan Caplen, and Will Heard, joined them on stage. The surprise appearances kept everyone on their toes, wondering who would come out next, and the anticipation was always worth it.

The band delivered some of their biggest hits, including Lay It All On Me,” “Love Me Again,” and “These Days”. As the concert turned into an all-out rave, Rudimental encouraged the audience to break the usual concert rules. During their performance of “Free,” they urged as many people as possible to get on someone else’s shoulders, creating a sense of freedom and spontaneity that transformed the atmosphere. Each moment after the song seemed even better than the last, as if Rudimental had granted permission for the audience to enjoy the concert on their own terms.

This was easily one of the most high-energy concerts I’ve seen all year, and I can’t wait to see Rudimental hit the road again.
