Skyline Series Bristol: Future Islands, The Vamps, Garbage & More

The Bristol Skyline Series 2018 kicked off in style with performances from Echo and the Bunnymen and UB40. As we move into the heart of summer, fans can look forward to an exciting array of acts performing at Ashton Gate Stadium and St Philips Gate. Here’s a breakdown of what’s to come:

Future Islands & Little Dragon – July 20th

Synth-pop trio Future Islands will take the stage at Ashton Gate Stadium following the success of their 2017 album, The Far Field. Expect an electric performance with their signature rippling synths. Supporting them will be Swedish electro-pop group Little Dragon, known for their genre-blending sound and distinct lyrics by vocalist Yukimi Nagano.

Bristol Ska and Mod Festival – August 3rd

The Bristol Ska and Mod Festival will feature performances from From The Jam, The Beat, and The Selecter. These legendary acts are sure to bring an explosive energy to the stage, celebrating ska’s vibrant history and culture.

James Arthur, JP Cooper & Nina Nesbitt – August 24th

2012 X Factor winner James Arthur will perform on August 24th, bringing his heartfelt hits to the stage while working on his third album. Joining him will be JP Cooper and Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt, who is gearing up to release her second album later this year.

The Vamps, Becky Hill, Jack Maynard & New Hope Club – August 26th

Texas, Imelda May & Ward Thomas – August 31st
