The global pop sensation, Taylor Swift, has once again left fans and critics in awe with her latest cinematic masterpiece. The Eras Tour which has already broken 5 records and has a setlist of 44 songs divided into 10 acts which define different eras of her career spans for over three hours. Unfortunately due to the high demand for tickets some fans had to miss out.
Thankfully Taylor saw this problem and decided to give us a full feature length Eras tour film which launches tomorrow worldwide but can be seen from today in the US and Canada!
The premiere of the “Eras Tour” film was hosted at The Grove in Los Angeles and saw thousands of Swifties come together to celebrate their beloved artist. The premiere included stars such as Rachel Zegler, Simu Liu, Julia Garner, Maren Morris and Adam Sandler. There was also an appearance from Andrea Swift who has become a celebrity in her own right!
After posing with fans for some photos outside Swift headed in where she gave a quick speech to those who were eagerly awaiting watching the film.
“I wanted to come and say hi to you before you watched the film because honestly, the fact that this tour was such a grand adventure has everything to do with the ways in which you cared about this tour and about these shows. I think that you’ll see that you’re absolutely a main character in the film, because it was your magic and your attention to detail and your sense of humor and the ways that you lean into what I’m doing and the music I create.”
Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour opens in over 8,000 cinemas worldwide on Friday and documents the record-breaking Eras Tour that Swift kicked off in March. As if Taylor hasn’t broken enough records this year, she is set to break another with a record global opening for a concert film of $150 – $200 million with advance ticket sales hitting the $100 million mark a week before the premiere.
