The Vamps seem to never be off tour, a feat that impressively keeps their fans returning for more. This time, however, their tour resembled a festival, featuring a diverse lineup of talented artists that contributed to an unforgettable evening. Many fans were initially apprehensive about the extended set time, worried that the inclusion of multiple acts would shorten The Vamps’ performance. Yet, the band proved everyone wrong, delivering a jam-packed set filled with their greatest hits and more.
First on the bill was band :PM, a group of five young guys from Yorkshire. They warmed up the crowd with their catchy tracks “Grown Ups” and “Driving Me Crazy,” setting the perfect tone for the night.
Next up was teen heartthrob HRVY, whose popularity resonated throughout the venue. Fans sang along to his hit “Personal” and enjoyed his cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” The energy peaked when HRVY was joined by four female backup dancers for his upbeat track “Hasta Luego,” getting everyone on their feet.
Following HRVY was New Hope Club, a band familiar to The Vamps’ fans. Having recently announced their own headline show at Shepherd’s Bush, it was clear that many attendees were also fans of this rising group. A playful scuffle ensued when George tossed his plectrum into the audience, showcasing their dedicated fan base. With their infectious energy, it’s only a matter of time before New Hope Club is headlining arenas.
The final act before The Vamps was American singer Jacob Sartorius, who entertained the crowd with his songs “Chapstick” and “Sweatshirt.”
In true Vamps style, this arena tour was not just a concert; it was an experience. The show kicked off with “Staying Up,” featuring pyrotechnics that had the crowd buzzing. With no expense spared, the evening included fireworks, flames, smoke, and confetti, making for a spectacular atmosphere. The Vamps delivered fan favorites like “Last Night,” “Shades On,” “Can We Dance,” and “Middle of the Night,” creating a night to remember.
They also introduced a new track, “Just My Type,” before welcoming Maggie Lindemann to perform their duet “Personal” alongside her hit “Pretty Girl.”
As the final show of their UK tour, the evening was filled with surprises and playful antics. Brad’s piano had been swapped for a toy keyboard, and during the “meet the band” segment, Blake, George, and Reece from New Hope Club hilariously joined the band on stage in wigs and dresses.
Brad also paid tribute to Manchester, addressing the city’s resilience following last year’s tragic events at the arena. “Manchester is a city with so much love and resilience, and we hope to continue coming back. So this one is for you,” he said before singing a heartfelt cover of Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time.”
The surprises didn’t stop there; Tristan performed a rap of “Come Grind with Me,” and Conor Maynard joined The Vamps for a rendition of “Shape of You.”
In true Vamps fashion, they returned for an encore, playing not one but three songs, ending the night with “All Night.” It was evident that this concert would leave fans reminiscing about the magical evening long after the final note faded away.
