This past weekend, Vevo Halloween returned to Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, transforming the venue into a carnival of costumes, music, and high-energy performances. With fans dressed as superheroes, vampires, skeletons, and more, the atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation.
The lineup this year was as diverse as ever, featuring genre-blending artists across indie rock, hip hop, soul, and electronic music. Headliners included Rat Boy, JP Cooper, Rag’n’Bone Man, rapper Yungen, and DJ Jonas Blue, each delivering a standout performance that brought the Halloween spirit to life.
Opening the night was Essex-born Rat Boy, whose fusion of hip hop and indie rock had the crowd hooked. Tracks like Fake ID, Revolution, and SCUM resonated with the audience, kicking off the evening with infectious energy.
Next up was Manchester’s own JP Cooper. Dressed in skeleton-themed suits, JP and his band wowed the crowd with soulful renditions of tracks from his latest album Raised Under Grey Skies. The platinum hit September Song had the audience singing along in full force, while Passport Home struck an emotional chord as JP shared his love for his hometown.
At 10 p.m., Rag’n’Bone Man took the stage draped in black capes, setting a spooky tone for his powerful set. His opening track Wolves created an eerie atmosphere, followed by his breakout hit Human, which had the entire crowd belting out the iconic chorus. Songs like Skin and Lay My Body Down continued to showcase his deep, emotive vocals, leaving the audience captivated.
Rapper Yungen brought the energy back up with his lively set, donning a clown-inspired costume. Performances of Bestie and All Night, alongside special guest Mr Eazi, had the crowd dancing and singing along to every beat.
The night culminated with DJ Jonas Blue, whose late-night set turned Victoria Warehouse into a full-blown dance party. Joined by singers Liza Owen, Aaron Levi, and Moelogo, Jonas Blue delivered crowd favorites like Fast Car, Mama, and the new release We Could Go Back. The show ended on a high with JP Cooper joining Jonas on stage for a live performance of Perfect Strangers, closing out Vevo Halloween with an unforgettable collaboration.
Vevo Halloween once again proved to be one of the top Halloween events in Manchester, blending incredible live music with an electric party atmosphere. While this year’s edition has come to a close, fans are already looking forward to next year’s lineup.
