Stella Gardiner

Stella Gardiner is a Wellington-based live music photographer and Getty Images contributor with more than 12 years of experience documenting Aotearoa’s music scene. Working primarily in Wellington’s venues and festivals, she has photographed everyone from emerging local artists to major international touring acts. Her images have been published both nationally and internationally - featured on gig posters, artist merchandise, and editorial platforms. Stella is passionate about capturing the energy and authenticity of live performance and is involved with the annual FromThePit exhibition celebrating New Zealand music photography.
