Charlie Puth is having a 2026 to remember. He performed at the Super Bowl in San Francisco back in February, his fourth studio album Whatever’s Clever! is out now, and he’s just announced a world tour to match — including a New Zealand headline date at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday November 5, produced by Live Nation.
By his own account, this is the live show he’s spent his entire career building toward. “I feel like I’ve worked and waited my entire career to put this sort of live show on for you all,” he says. “We have worked so hard to bring you the sort of top-level musicianship and arrangements that you all deserve.” Given that this is a man with 35 billion career streams, nine multi-platinum singles and a back catalogue that includes ‘Attention’, ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ and ‘See You Again’, the phrase “biggest hits” is doing a lot of very enjoyable heavy lifting.

If you’re not already across Whatever’s Clever!, it’s the follow-up to 2022’s CHARLIE — which gave us the platinum-certified ‘Light Switch’ and ‘Left and Right’ featuring Jung Kook of BTS — and it continues Puth’s reputation as one of pop’s most consistent, technically gifted hitmakers. He also co-wrote and produced ‘Stay’ for The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, which spent eleven weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200. The man knows his way around a song.
An artist presale opens Monday April 20 at 12pm local time. Westpac New Zealand Mastercard holders get early access from Tuesday April 21 at 12pm through to Thursday April 23 at 12pm. General on-sale follows Thursday April 23 at 1pm local time.
