Let’s be honest, the North just does it better. As a Cheshire girl born and bred, there’s something unbeatable about having a proper boutique festival right on your doorstep, and Cheshire Fest is fast becoming a summer essential.

On Saturday 2nd August 2025, Capesthorne Hall’s beautiful grounds will once again play host to 5,000 festival-goers, with an eclectic line-up spanning indie, dance, rock and more. After a successful launch last year, this year’s edition promises to raise the bar even higher, and with VIP tickets already sold out, it’s clear demand is strong.

A line-up that delivers

At the top of the bill is Ministry of Sound Ibiza Anthems ft Ellie Sax & Friends, bringing a day-to-night journey through some of Ibiza’s most iconic tracks. Expect everything from chilled poolside grooves to full-throttle club anthems, featuring classics by Faithless, Eric Prydz, Becky Hill, Daft Punk, Robin S, Fisher and more.

Beyond the Balearic beats, there’s a solid line-up of indie and alternative heroes: Peter Hook & The Light, Inspiral Carpets, Bez, Tunde from Lighthouse Family, DJ Billie Clements, Shade, Between the Lines, K-Klass and others set to keep stages buzzing throughout the day.

The festival’s new Indie Live Lounge stage offers a dedicated space for guitar-led sounds, adding to the festival’s varied mix.

More than just music

Cheshire Fest isn’t just about what’s on stage. There’s a strong focus on creating an experience that goes beyond the music:

  • A wellness tent providing a calm retreat, perfect for when you need a break from the crowds
  • A new Premium Lounge in partnership with Bollinger, offering an elevated festival experience (already sold out)
  • A silent disco, an international lager bar, and a street food village ensuring there’s plenty to keep you entertained and well-fed throughout the day
