New Zealand’s favorite indie-pop exports, Foley, are finally coming home. After a massive year based in Sydney and a whirlwind tour across Asia, the dynamic duo of Ash Wallace and Gabe Everett have announced they are returning to Aotearoa this May for the LIKE AN ACTRESS tour.

The homecoming serves as a victory lap following the February release of their five-track EP, LIKE AN ACTRESS. The project has already solidified Foley’s status as pop visionaries, with AAA Backstage calling it a “dreamy yet grounded” release perfect for both festival stages and late-night vibes.

The EP is stacked with heavy hitters, including the chart-topping anthem “Honey,” which dominated the Hot 20 Aotearoa Singles Chart for weeks. Fans can also expect to hear the effortlessly cool “Cinematic” which racked up 120,000 Spotify streams in record time, and their latest addictive single, “Going Easy.”

While they’ve been busy playing back-to-back shows in Australia and headlining stages in Seoul, Busan, and Daegu, the pair haven’t forgotten where it all started. For Ash and Gabe, this tour is about more than just the music; it’s about reconnecting with the fans who have been there since day one.

“We can’t wait to see all of you across Aotearoa! AKA the best crowds in the world!” the duo shared. “We’re heading back to where our community started, where our first Foley fan tattoo happened and so many incredible memories. We can’t wait to do it all again.”

The tour kicks off at Christchurch’s Darkroom on Thursday, May 7, before hitting the legendary Whammy in Auckland on Friday, May 8. The celebrations wrap up at Meow in Wellington on Saturday, May 9.

Supported by the NZ On Air’s New Music Project Touring Fund, these shows are expected to be high-energy, intimate, and a total celebration of one of the country’s most successful indie-pop acts. If you haven’t seen them live since they’ve leveled up on the international stage, now is the time.

Tickets are on sale now.
