Leon Thomas’ Mutts Don’t Heel tour has a new leash on life, and it’s heading to Aotearoa for the first time.

Originally slated for April, the multitalented R&B singer has rescheduled his 2026 Australian tour dates to June due to a scheduling conflict. But there’s a silver lining: the updated itinerary now includes a brand-new show at Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday 9 June, marking Thomas’ debut New Zealand performance.

Fans who already hold tickets to the April shows will have them automatically transferred to the new dates, with options to request a refund if needed. Meanwhile, tickets for the Auckland show go on sale Tuesday 2 December at 10am local time, with a Frontier Members presale starting Friday 28 November.

Off the back of his critically acclaimed debut album MUTT, and the recently released deluxe version MUTT Deluxe: HEEL, Leon Thomas continues to redefine the edges of modern R&B. Blending lush soul with psychedelic edges, gritty rock textures, and sleek production, the expanded edition dives deeper into the themes of connection, self-reflection, and emotional complexity.

Features from Kehlani, Big Sean, and Halle elevate the project’s mood, while standout tracks like NOT FAIR and RATHER BE ALONE show Thomas sharpening his vision and refusing to sit still. Where MUTT explored duality, HEELbares its teeth.

With platinum status, a Billboard #1 R&B Album nod, and collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Freddie Gibbs, and Wale already under his belt, Thomas’ evolution from child actor to Grammy-winning producer to solo artist is in full stride, and now, he’s bringing it live.

Following overwhelming demand, extra dates have been added in Melbourne and Sydney, with multiple shows already down to final tickets. Expect high-energy performances, fearless vocals, and a genre-bending setlist that reflects one of R&B’s most exciting voices right now.
