Bank Holiday weekends don’t come much better than this. Neighbourhood Weekender returns to Victoria Park in Warrington on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, and with stage splits now revealed and more artists added to an already packed lineup, the picture is complete. Two days, three stages, and one of the North West’s most beloved festivals doing what it does best.
Richard Ashcroft headlines Saturday, with Kaiser Chiefs, The K’s, Example, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Cast among those joining him across the day. The emerging end of the bill is equally strong β Girl In The Year Above, Basht, Alessi Rose, Cassia, Brooke Combe, Freddie Halkon and Arkayla all feature, continuing a festival tradition of putting breakthrough artists in front of crowds who’ll be talking about them long after the weekend is over.
Sunday belongs to Blossoms, who headline the main stage in what feels like a genuinely full-circle moment β the Stockport band played Neighbourhood Weekender in their formative years before returning this May to top the bill. Joining them are DMA’S, Jamie Webster, Shed Seven, Razorlight, Melanie C, The Fratellis, The Royston Club and more, with newer names including The Kairos, Cherryholt, Better Joy and The Covasettes filling out a day that moves between established favourites and artists on the cusp of something bigger.
That balance between the familiar and the new is what has always defined Neighbourhood Weekender. Previous lineups have included early appearances from Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Wet Leg, Maisie Peters, Gerry Cinnamon, CMAT and Tom Grennan β all of whom have since gone on to headline arenas and festivals worldwide. The festival has a track record of getting there first, and the 2026 bill suggests that instinct hasn’t dulled.
Spread across the Main Stage, The Big Top and the Viola Beach Stage, the full weekend promises non-stop live music from midday to close. All Music Magazine summed it up well β “from top to bottom, it’s a joy. The lineup always delivers, and the energy of the crowd is nothing short of electric.”
Tickets are on sale now. If you’re anywhere near the North West this May Bank Holiday, this is where you want to be.
