Spacey Jane are heading home for summer in style. The Perth indie favourites have announced two special shows on the steps of Sydney Opera House Forecourt on 10 and 11 December 2026, as part of the iconic venue’s On The Steps summer concert series — and it marks the band’s Sydney Opera House debut.
Joined by special guests Telenova and Armlock, the shows bring together three of Australia’s most exciting acts for what promises to be one of the summer’s most spectacular nights out. Set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, it’s the kind of setting that turns a great gig into something genuinely memorable — and for a band at Spacey Jane’s current trajectory, it feels like exactly the right moment.
The announcement comes as the band gear up for the release of their forthcoming EP Exit Wounds, due 12 June, previewed by recent singles “Do You Really Love Her” and “I Never See Her”. Fresh off a widely successful global tour behind their third studio album If That Makes Sense — produced by Mike Crossey, the man behind records for Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice and The 1975 — Spacey Jane return to Australian stages with an electrifying live show that has spent the last few years winning over audiences well beyond their home turf.
For those who need a reminder of how far the band have come: their 2020 debut Sunlight earned single “Booster Seat” Song of the Year at the ARIA Awards, while follow-up Here Comes Everybody debuted at number one in Australia and made them Triple J’s most played artist of 2022. Their international fanbase has been growing steadily ever since, with 2026 also seeing them appear at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Osheaga in North America.
The Sydney Opera House shows are shaping up to be the centrepiece of their Australian summer — and with Telenova and Armlock alongside them, the support bill is equally strong.
