Tramlines 2026 Is Already Breaking Records: Here’s Who’s Playing Hillsborough Park

This year’s headliners read like a festival dream team: Fatboy Slim kicks things off on Friday with a main stage set of pure big-beat euphoria, followed by Courteeners on Saturday and Wolf Alice closing things out on Sunday with their signature mix of alt-rock chaos and heart.

Tramlines Festival stage in Sheffield

Tramlines 2026 is coming in hot, and judging by the lineup and the ticket demand, it might be the festival’s biggest year yet. With over 20,000 fans signed up for early access and more than two-thirds of all tickets already sold, the Hillsborough Park favourite is heading straight for a sell-out.

Joining them across the weekend are Blossoms, Wet Leg, Kaiser Chiefs, Gabrielle, The Vaccines, Rick Astley (yes, really), Reverend and the Makers, Vanessa Carlton, The Enemy and a heap of rising stars, from The K’s and Bethany Grace to Saint Clair and Creeping Jean.

Also announced: a disco takeover from Day Fever, the cult daytime party project launched by Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen, and Reverend & the Makers’ Jon McClure. Think less 3am rave, more feel-good dancefloor for the day crowd, with floor-fillers and zero pretension.

Fatboy Slim’s set will mark his first major outdoor festival slot in Sheffield, bringing era-defining tracks like Praise You and Right Here, Right Now to Hillsborough Park for what promises to be a euphoric, full-circle moment. The rest of the weekend balances indie icons, cult heroes, viral comebacks (hello again Rick Astley) and brand-new talent, all packed into one of the UK’s most-loved inner city festivals.

Beyond the music, Tramlines continues to prove it’s not just about the weekend. Their “Spill the Beans” campaign, where fans received literal tins of beans with artist names on them, doubled as a drive for donations to Sheffield’s S6 Foodbank, blending humour with real community support. That local love runs deep too: since launching in 2022, The Tramlines Trust has awarded over £120,000 in grants to Hillsborough-based projects and other grassroots initiatives across culture, education, mental health and more.

And with four nominations at the upcoming UK Festival Awards, including for Pulp’s headline set in 2025, Tramlines isn’t just growing, it’s setting the standard.

The 2026 edition runs from 24 to 26 July, and if you’re thinking of waiting to buy tickets… don’t. Pre-sale opens Thursday 27 November at 6pm for those registered, and general sale starts Friday 28 November, but at this rate, they won’t last long.

General sale begins at 6pm on Friday 28 November
