Dust off your skinny jeans and start stretching those vocal cords, 2010 is calling, and it sounds exactly like a distorted guitar riff.

Indie heavyweights Two Door Cinema Club have just announced they are bringing their 15th-anniversary celebration of Tourist History to Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, November 27, 2026. And because one era-defining album isn’t enough, they’re bringing The Vaccines along to play their breakthrough record What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? in full.
Reliving the ‘Tourist History’ Magic
It’s hard to overstate the grip Tourist History had on the world when it dropped. From a garage in Bangor to the main stages of Glastonbury and Coachella, tracks like “What You Know”, “Something Good Can Work”, and “Undercover Martyn” became the literal DNA of the 2010s indie-dance scene.
After a massive 2024 that saw them sell out 30 amphitheatres in the US and play a legendary set at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, the Northern Irish trio is heading back to New Zealand shores. They aren’t just playing the hits; they are performing the album that started it all from start to finish.
“We have some incredible memories of time spent in Oz and NZ… I don’t know what it is about the southern hemisphere but you guys just know how it’s done.” — Two Door Cinema Club
Double the Nostalgia with The Vaccines
Joining the tour are London’s finest, The Vaccines. They’ll be marking 15 years of their raw, high-energy debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?. Expect a relentless set of “If You Wanna”, “Post Break-Up Sex”, and “Wetsuit”. It’s a double-bill that feels less like a concert and more like a time machine to the best festival summer of your life.

Why I’m Not Missing This
As a Brit who grew up with these two albums as the literal soundtrack to every house party, muddy festival, and questionable fashion choice of the early 2010s, this announcement hits different.
Fifteen years on, both Tourist History and What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? have shifted from “new releases” to “cultural touchstones.”
Whether you’re a fellow expat looking to reclaim a slice of your youth or a local who lived for these indie-dance anthems, this is a rare chance to witness the “wall-to-wall” hits that defined a generation.
I will definitely be there reliving my youth.
