Twenty years. That’s how long it’s been since Westlife last set foot on Australian and New Zealand soil — and if you needed any proof that the wait has been worth it, just look at what they’re bringing with them. The Irish pop institution have just confirmed the Australia and New Zealand leg of their Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour, rolling into seven cities across both countries in July 2027.
The run kicks off in Perth at the RAC Arena on 16 July, before hitting Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre on the 18th, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on the 21st, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on the 23rd, and wrapping up the Australian leg at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on the 26th. From there, Shane, Nicky, Kian and Mark head across to New Zealand — Auckland’s Spark Arena on the 28th and Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on the 30th close things out.
The band aren’t shy about what this one means to them either. “We can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we last toured in Australia and New Zealand,” they said, “so it only felt right that we should come back and celebrate our 25th Anniversary together.” They also had something to say about the fans — apparently Australia and New Zealand have the loudest in the world. Bold claim, but we’re not going to argue with Westlife.

Timed alongside the tour announcement is the release of 25 – The Ultimate Collection — a 25-year career celebration that pulls together 21 fan favourites including Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girl and You Raise Me Up, alongside brand new material from all four members. If you’ve ever needed a playlist for a long drive or a good cry, this is probably it.
The numbers behind Westlife are genuinely staggering. Over 3 billion streams, 14 UK number ones (only Elvis and The Beatles have managed more), 55 million records sold, and more than 6 million concert tickets shifted worldwide. Their Wild Dreams Tour alone moved 1.2 million tickets. These are not small figures.
