Labrinth is one of them, and Cosmic Opera Act II — arriving 29th May 2026 — looks set to be another reminder of why that combination is so rare and so worth paying attention to.
The album is the second instalment of a project that began with Cosmic Opera Act I in January 2026, and it arrives with considerable momentum behind it. Labrinth has just come off two performances at Coachella, widely described as among the weekend’s most visceral and memorable sets — the kind that remind you what live music can be when someone with real compositional range and genuine pop instinct brings both to the same stage at the same time.
The twelve-track record continues the complex, multi-layered emotional storytelling that has defined his work across chart-topping pop, film scores, and his celebrated contribution to one of the most acclaimed drama series of the past decade.
