The Band CAMINO Finally Drop Long-Awaited Track “Afterthought” as Global Tour Rolls On

Out now via Atlantic Records, Afterthought arrives as a late but welcome addition to their third studio album NeverAlways, and continues the band's reputation for giving the people what they want, eventually. The song has been a regular feature on their current NeverAlways Tour, and with its release now official, fans can finally spin the track that’s already a live staple.

Fans asked, and The Band CAMINO have finally answered. After years of teasers, live versions, and social media begging, the Nashville trio have officially released Afterthought, a fan-favourite track that’s been bouncing around since the early days of their setlists.

Out now via Atlantic Records, Afterthought arrives as a late but welcome addition to their third studio album NeverAlways, and continues the band’s reputation for giving the people what they want, eventually. The song has been a regular feature on their current NeverAlways Tour, and with its release now official, fans can finally spin the track that’s already a live staple.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect. Before heading across the Atlantic to kick off the European leg of their tour next week, The Band CAMINO — Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess, will make their debut at the legendary Grand Ole Opry this Friday, 5 December. It’s a full-circle moment for the Nashville-based outfit, who’ve spent the last decade carving out their space between alt-pop, stadium rock, and heart-on-sleeve anthems.

Their NeverAlways LP, which dropped earlier this year, features highlights like Stupid Questions and Infinity, both written with frequent collaborators Seth Ennis and Schmidt, and brimming with the signature CAMINO sound, polished hooks, nostalgic shimmer, and emotional bite. The 11-track album also includes co-writes with the likes of Captain Cuts, Jonah Shy (Role Model, Shawn Mendes), and Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan, Gracie Abrams), showcasing a band that knows exactly who they are, and how to evolve.

The global NeverAlways Tour follows the band’s intimate Tour Before The Tour series earlier this year, which sold out in under 20 minutes and served as a high-energy teaser for what was to come. Now, they’re heading to the UK and Europe, with a sold-out London show already under their belt before even touching down. They’ll then take the tour to New Zealand and Australia in February 2026, with stops in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle, a long-awaited return to this side of the world.
