UNITYTX

UNITYTX just announced their new album, and it’s a middle finger to every box they’ve ever been shoved in

Fresh off the venomous chaos of “HEINOUS”, UNITYTX aren’t just back, they’re levelling the whole playing field. Fresh off the venomous chaos of “HEINOUS”, UNITYTX aren’t just back, they’re levelling the whole playing field. The Dallas genre-blenders have officially announced their sophomore album Somewhere, In Between…, due 13 March 2026 via Pure Noise Records. It’s their first full-length since 2023’s Ferality, and it’s looking like a bold reclaiming of space, sound, and self-worth. If you’ve ever felt like you were too much and never enough at the same time, this one’s for you.

New single “Enjoy Tha Show” dropped alongside the announcement, and it’s the kind of track that comes at you with teeth bared and heart wide open. A sonic gut-punch wrapped in distortion and disillusionment, it threads metal and hip-hop with deep emotional tension. But it’s not just rage for rage’s sake. Frontman Jay Webster, aka SHAOLIN G, lays it out plain: this is about survival in a system that only wants your pain when it’s packaged and palatable.

“Ignoring it was harder than I thought,” he admits, reflecting on how racism, expectations, and constant criticism shaped his perspective. “So I shifted my approach to simply enjoying the experience.” That shift isn’t defeat, it’s defiance. “Enjoy Tha Show” is a callout and a coping mechanism, a moment of clarity in the middle of the chaos.

It’s clear UNITYTX are done pretending. Somewhere, In Between… isn’t just a title, it’s a reckoning. The album plays like a tug-of-war between who they’ve been told to be and who they are at their core. It doesn’t beg for a seat at the table. It flips the table, builds a new one out of scorched riffs and raw truth, and dares you to sit with it.

From “Sabotage” to “Crash N Burn”, the tracklist reads like a diary scrawled in caps lock and broken pencils. Highlights like “Fuck Tha World” and “STFU” tell you everything you need to know about the mood, fed up, fired up, and laser-focused on carving a new path forward. This is music for the misfits, for the inbetweeners, for the kids who never saw themselves in the mainstream but kept showing up anyway.

UNITYTX aren’t just making noise, they’re making space. And they’re bringing it live this spring on tour with Varials, hitting major US cities including Chicago, Dallas, and Brooklyn. You can catch them the day before the album drops, March 12 in Detroit, where the energy is guaranteed to be as unfiltered as the album itself.

If Ferality was the opening shot, Somewhere, In Between… is the war cry. This isn’t just a band finding their footing, it’s a band stomping down the door and rewriting their own rules. UNITYTX have always lived at the edge of genres. Now, they’re claiming the centre of their own universe.
