Glastonbury 2027 Tickets Confirmed: Prices Break £400 for the First Time

Glastonbury's back for real in 2027, and the price has gone up with it: £408 a ticket, on sale from 4 October. Here's the full breakdown.

Glastonbury Festival will return to Worthy Farm from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 June 2027, and organisers have now confirmed exactly when and how much it will cost to get in.

Coach travel and ticket packages go on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday 1 October, with standard general admission tickets following at 9am BST on Sunday 4 October. Anyone wanting to buy needs to register first, and that window closes at 5pm BST on Friday 25 September, so it’s worth sorting sooner rather than later.

The headline number is the price: a weekend ticket now costs £408, including a £5 booking fee, up £29.50 on last year’s price and the first time Glastonbury has crossed the £400 mark. Buyers pay a £100 deposit at the point of sale, with the remaining £308 balance due between 1 and 7 April 2027. There’s a cap of six tickets per person.

This is Glastonbury’s first festival back after sitting out 2026 for one of its regular fallow years, when Worthy Farm is given a break to recover from the previous event. Emily Eavis has framed the gap as part of the process rather than a pause, with organisers using the time to refine the site and how the festival runs, not just rest the land. “We’re always looking to make it better. The detail is critical,” she said of the planning that goes into each return.

Headliners for 2027 haven’t been confirmed, and Eavis has already ruled out one name: Madonna won’t be playing. That hasn’t stopped the rumour mill, with Stevie Wonder, Fontaines D.C., Taylor Swift and Harry Styles all doing the rounds as unconfirmed speculation, alongside separate Oasis headliner chatter that Liam Gallagher has already denied. None of that is locked in, so treat it as exactly what it is for now: guesswork ahead of an actual announcement.

For UK fans, the real news today isn’t who might play, it’s when to be online and how much to budget. Registration by 25 September, coach sale on 1 October, general sale on 4 October, and £408 to find down the back of the sofa.
