The Arizona alt-rock legends will play Bleed American in full, giving UK fans a rare chance to experience the platinum-selling album live. Released in 2001, the record propelled Jimmy Eat World into the mainstream with hits like “Sweetness,” “A Praise Chorus,” and “The Middle,” which has since surpassed one billion streams on Spotify.

Jimmy Eat World have announced their biggest UK headline show to date, marking the 25th anniversary of their seminal album Bleed American with a huge outdoor performance at Gunnersbury Park in London on 16 August 2026.

Speaking about the upcoming show, frontman Jim Adkins said: “Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.” He added that when the band finished the album, they knew they’d made something they were proud of, but had no idea how deeply it would resonate with listeners over the next two decades.

The Gunnersbury Park show will also feature special guests Rise Against, with support from The Get Up Kids and Jay Som, a line-up that speaks directly to the fans who grew up with Bleed American and its era-defining sound. Known for their high-energy live shows and emotional intensity, Jimmy Eat World are promising a career-spanning set alongside the full album performance, with an all-new production to match the scale of the occasion.

The show follows a busy 2025 for the band, which included festival appearances at Download, Sonic Temple and Welcome To Rockville, and a US tour with The Offspring. They also recently released the Something(s) Loud EP, featuring a mix of fan-favourite singles, covers, acoustic versions and a previously unreleased track titled “Failure.”

This anniversary show is set to be a landmark moment in Jimmy Eat World’s career, and an essential night for fans of early 2000s alt-rock.
