Morrissey is heading back out on the road. The legendary singer has confirmed a run of UK headline shows for December 2026, following a sold-out night at The O2 in London earlier this year — and this time he’s taking the tour to Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Glasgow and Leeds.
The dates arrive in support of his new album Make-Up Is a Lie, which is available now. Having already proven demand with that London sell-out, the addition of five arena dates across the country feels like a natural next step for an artist whose ability to fill rooms has never really dimmed, regardless of what else might be happening around him.

The shows span some of the UK’s most iconic venues — from the Brighton Centre to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow and the First Direct Arena in Leeds — and will inevitably draw the kind of devoted, passionate crowd that only Morrissey seems to inspire. Say what you like about the man, but few artists command that level of loyalty forty-four years into a career.
For anyone who needs reminding of the scale of that legacy: 25 UK top ten albums — 15 solo, 10 with The Smiths — an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, and a songbook that has been covered by everyone from David Bowie and Nancy Sinatra to My Chemical Romance and The Killers. His 2013 Autobiography spent six weeks at number one and became the second fastest-selling autobiography of all time. The man has earned his arena shows.
Tickets go on pre-sale from Wednesday 20 May at 9am BST, with general sale opening Friday 22 May at 9am BST.
