SIX60 will make history this summer, and you’re invited.

On Friday 13 February, the Kiwi icons will be the very first band to play the brand new Te Paepae Theatre inside Auckland’s NZICC, and they’re marking the occasion with an exclusive one-night-only album release concert. Yes, SIX60 are doing what they do best: turning a moment into a memory. And this one’s set to be big.

The show celebrates the release of their fifth studio album, Right Here Right Now, and promises an intimate, up-close experience fans rarely get to enjoy. While the band’s no stranger to stadiums, this gig strips it back, the energy of a live room, the warmth of vinyl in hand, and that rare first-listen thrill as tracks from the new album come to life in real time.

Expect emotional ballads, reggae-pop grooves, and that signature SIX60 uplift, all recorded live in one take and now played live for the first time. It’s music made to be felt, and this concert is your front-row ticket to the most unfiltered version of the band yet.

The venue itself is just as much a part of the story. SkyCity CEO Jason Walbridge called it “an exciting moment for New Zealand’s live entertainment scene,” and it’s easy to see why. With transformable spaces and retractable seating, the NZICC isn’t just a convention centre, it’s shaping up to be a new cultural hub. SIX60 opening its doors sets the tone for what’s to come: world-class artists, world-class energy.

If you’re quick, you’ll also be able to grab Right Here Right Now on vinyl at the show, or preorder now to guarantee yours from the official SIX60 Store. Tickets for the general public go on sale Thursday 22 January at 12PM via Ticketmaster.

To tide fans over in the meantime, the band’s already dropped two brand-new singles, ‘Knocking At Your Door’ and ‘We Are All Kings’, giving a taste of the raw, honest sound that defines the album. It’s SIX60 in full bloom, imperfect, live, and exactly what we’ve been waiting for.

This isn’t just another gig. It’s a landmark night for New Zealand music, a celebration of a new space, and a front-row seat to the next chapter of SIX60. Don’t sleep on it.
