Having already kicked off their long-awaited 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour across Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Fremantle last week, multi-platinum US pop duo MKTO are set to touch down in Kiwi territory this Sunday for their first New Zealand performance since 2014.
Presented by Teamwrk Touring, MRG Live, and ZM, Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller will hit the stage at The Studio in Auckland on Sunday, 13th September, closing out a massive headline run that wraps up following stops in Sydney and Newcastle later this week.
The duo’s special connection with New Zealand fans stretches back to their 2012 debut single “Thank You,” which peaked at #7 on the NZ Top 40 and went 2x Platinum locally. That early momentum was quickly followed by global smash hits including “Classic” (#8 on the NZ Top 40, 6x Platinum), “God Only Knows,” and “American Dream,” cementing their signature blend of pop and R&B on local airwaves.
Returning off the back of sold-out Australian dates last year and recent North American shows alongside The Kid LAROI and 2 Chainz, the pair bring a rejuvenated onstage energy to their Australasian fanbase.
“We’re super excited to still be able to do shows with music we put out years ago. Even more excited to add New Zealand to this run! They have showed us love from the very beginning. Can’t wait to see everybody and have a good time!” the duo shared ahead of the tour.
