The Band CAMINO have never been a band that drags their feet, but even by their standards, the past year has moved quickly. Fresh off the back of their 2025 NeverAlways Tour and a run of intimate sold-out shows that shifted in under 20 minutes, the Nashville trio are back with a new single and the announcement of NeverAlways Vol. 2, the companion record to last year’s NeverAlways, arriving May 22nd via Atlantic Records.
The new single is “Holly!” — already a staple in their live set — and it’s exactly the kind of track that earns that exclamation mark. Jeffery Jordan described it as “a bit of a guilty pleasure,” the classic girl’s-name song done with full commitment. “Ended up being the most fun song on the whole project,” he said. “And quite obviously the song of the summer.” It’s a bold call, but if you’ve heard it, you’ll understand why they believe it.
The album itself closes out a project that’s been two years in the making. The band wrote all 22 songs — across both volumes — in the fall of 2024, and it quickly became clear they were sitting on a double album’s worth of material. Vol. 2’s 11-track tracklist also includes previously released single “12:34” and fan-favourite “Afterthought,” which fans had been vocal about wanting on a proper release. Alongside those are new tracks including “Mascara,” “Mirror Mirror,” “Another Body,” and closing track “Never And Always,” which feels like it might be saying something.
It’s a significant moment for a band now a decade into their run. Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess have accumulated nearly one billion career streams, built a genuinely devoted live following, and earned nods from Rolling Stone and Billboard along the way. Their catalogue stretches back through the My Thoughts On You EP in 2016, through tryhard, their self-titled debut LP, and The Dark, to here — their most substantial body of work yet.
