Tigirlily Gold are back with a sharp new statement of intent. The award-winning sister duo β Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh β have released “I Do Or Die,” a track that leans hard into the classic country sounds they grew up loving, and pulls no punches about what happens when a partner steps out of line.
The song arrives with an official video and marks another confident step forward for a duo that has been building serious momentum since winning the 2024 ACM Award for New Duo of the Year.
“‘I Do Or Die’ is a song that intertwines all the things we love most about country music β the fun, the sass, the fiddle, the harmonies, the energy,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We grew up on songs by confident women like The Chicks, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert who made it clear that while it’s great to fiddle around with a fun lyric and punchy production, there’s no fiddling around when it comes to a relationship.”

Co-written with Willie Morrison and Jess Grommet, the track follows “Country & Midwestern,” their ode to their North Dakota roots that MusicRow called essential listening. Where that song looked inward at where they came from, “I Do Or Die” is a whip-smart, outward-facing warning β the kind of country song that makes you grin and wince in equal measure.
UK and Ireland dates with Carly Pearce
For UK and Irish fans, this is the ideal moment to get acquainted. Tigirlily Gold are joining Carly Pearce on her Inside the Dream Tour, with shows across Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast. Before that, they’ll appear at Highways Festival in London on 16th May 2026 β one of the city’s flagship country music events and a strong introduction for anyone who hasn’t caught them live yet.
The duo have been road-tested throughout 2026, with dates alongside Scotty McCreery and headline shows of their own, so these European appearances come at a point when they’re very much in their stride.
From North Dakota to Nashville to global stages
Kendra and Krista have been playing music together since childhood, officially forming Tigirlily Gold as teenagers. They built their early fanbase in North Dakota before relocating to Nashville, where they sharpened their craft playing four-hour sets three to four nights a week at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row on lower Broadway β the kind of apprenticeship that shows in how tight and road-ready they sound today.
Their debut album Blonde arrived in 2024 and produced two charting radio singles: “Shoot Tequila,” which reached the top 40, and “I Tried A Ring On,” which climbed into the top 30 and was performed on the ACM Awards to a national audience. Two CMT Award nominations and two People’s Choice Country Award nominations followed, alongside features in Billboard, Forbes and Vulture, appearances on NBC’s Today Show, and spots on both MusicRow’s Next Big Thing and the Opry NextStage class of 2025.
“I Do Or Die” is out now. New music is expected throughout the year.
