Motionless in White turn Nottingham inside out

From there it was relentless. ‘Disguise’ had everyone clapping and headbanging in sync, ‘Slaughterhouse’ delivered huge call-and-response screams, and the Cherry Bomb dancers returned as rats under green strobes for ‘Rats’.

On 6 February 2026, Motionless in White rolled into Motorpoint Arena and left absolutely nothing on the table. With Make Them Suffer and Dayseeker setting the tone, the night felt loud, emotional, messy in the best way and very, very Nottingham.

Make Them Suffer were straight to the point. Arms in the air, pit open, no excuses. Red and blue siren lights flashed as the floor started bouncing, and by the time ‘Waste Me’ hit, a massive circle pit had opened up with shirts flying and two fans in bright yellow banana costumes stealing the show. The mix of angelic clean vocals and brutal screams worked perfectly live, ending with the vocalist dropping to his knees at the front of the stage before a simple, heartfelt thank you. Job very much done.

Dayseeker slowed things down emotionally but still kept the room locked in. Phone torches lit up the arena early on, and ‘Crawl Back to My Coffin’ landed with genuine weight, sung like it meant every word. The call for a pit during ‘Bloodlust’ finally cracked the floor open under red lights, while a quiet moment reflecting on the band’s 13-year journey made the set feel personal rather than polished. ‘Without Me’ turned the crowd into a full choir, arms swaying side to side, and ‘Neon Grave’, written for the singer’s dad, closed things with heart hands, applause and more than a few misty eyes.

By the time Motionless in White appeared, the room was ready to explode. A spinning disco cat visual set a weirdly fun tone before flame dancers, confetti blasts and pyro took over. Chants of “you sexy bastard” rang out between songs, water guns cooled the front rows, and ‘Voices’ came wrapped in blue lights, pride flags and glowing lyrics behind the band. After a brief pause for a medical incident, handled with care and patience, the lights dropped low for new track ‘Afraid of the Dark’, complete with eerie sounds, werewolf visuals and crowd surfers flying from the back of the arena to the barrier.

From there it was relentless. ‘Disguise’ had everyone clapping and headbanging in sync, ‘Slaughterhouse’ delivered huge call-and-response screams, and the Cherry Bomb dancers returned as rats under green strobes for ‘Rats’. ‘Cyberhex’ pulsed with futuristic energy, while ‘Another Life’ filled the room with phone lights and shouted lyrics.

Then came the moment no one expected. Nottingham opened the first-ever pit to ‘City Lights’. Even the band couldn’t believe it, stopping to laugh, check everyone was okay and promised to tell the story everywhere. Roses were handed out, flags waved, and the night ended feeling more celebratory than chaotic.

Motionless in White didn’t just play Nottingham. They connected with it. And judging by the noise, the feeling was completely mutual.
