There’s a version of this story where The Reytons stay in their lane — keep doing the club circuit, keep building steadily, keep being the best-kept secret in British indie. But that has never really been who they are, and the announcement of their first ever world tour makes that clearer than ever. Alexandra Palace. Co-op Live. A world tour that stretches from Dallas to Tokyo to Auckland. The underdogs aren’t underdogs anymore.
The UK leg is the centrepiece for most fans, and it’s a properly ambitious run. October brings some of the biggest rooms they’ve ever played — Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on the 23rd, Alexandra Palace in London on the 24th, and Co-op Live in Manchester on the 30th, among others. There are also shows in Dublin, Belfast, Hull and Edinburgh, making this the most geographically broad UK tour of their career.
The context makes it all feel earned. In 2025 alone, they toured the UK, headlined Tramlines Festival, and sold out Wembley Arena. Number one albums. Blue-collar grit. A fanbase that has grown entirely on its own terms, with no major label machinery behind it. BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders called them unstoppable, and watching this routing it’s hard to argue.
The tour also arrives alongside news of their fourth studio album, A Love Letter To A Broken Town, due in July. Frontman Jonny Yerrell isn’t shy about where he thinks it sits in their catalogue.
“I honestly feel like this album is the best we’ve ever done,” he says. “A lot of bands and artists like to change direction later in their careers, but that’s just not us. Expect more, just bigger and better with a few surprises on the side.”
Rooted in the grit, humour and honesty of everyday life that has always defined them, the album promises to push their sound forward while staying true to everything that got them here — which, given the size of rooms they’re now filling, is a pretty compelling proposition.
If you’re in Australia or New Zealand, they’re heading your way too — full details here.
