Stella Lefty Releases “I Know I Know” as “Boston” Flies Past 40 Million Streams

The LA-based breakout artist is having quite a moment β€” and her second single suggests it's only getting started.

Things are moving quickly for Stella Lefty. Her debut single Boston has blown past 40 million streams, climbed to number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 14 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, and landed on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist β€” all while picking up radio support across major US markets from Minneapolis to Dallas to Denver. Now, barely a breath later, her second single I Know I Know is out today via Atlantic Outpost, and it arrives with the kind of easy confidence of an artist who knows exactly what she’s doing.

Where Boston made the case for Lefty as a songwriter with real emotional range, I Know I Know shows the other side β€” a catchy, foot-tapping track that blurs the lines between pop and country with an infectious hook, banjo, guitar and a sing-along bridge built for exactly the kind of crowd she’s been playing to lately. Pure fun, and none the worse for it.

Last weekend, Lefty took over Stagecoach with a string of appearances β€” performing at Diplo’s set alongside Theo Von and Caleb Pressley, joining Wyatt Flores for Boston, and covering Tyler Childers’ All Your’n with Cameron Whitcomb. By all accounts she was the talk of the weekend, her live vocals and stage presence doing exactly what they needed to do on one of country music’s biggest stages.

The live momentum doesn’t slow down from here. Her first headline shows β€” The Moroccan Lounge in LA on 13th May and Mercury Lounge in NYC on 19th May β€” sold out within five minutes of being announced. From there, the summer stretches out impressively: CMA Fest in Nashville, Osheaga in Montreal, Lollapalooza in Chicago, Mumford and Sons’ British Summer Time in London on 4th July, and a run of dates supporting Tucker Wetmore on The Brunette World Tour through August and September.

For an artist who spent last year building steadily through support slots with Will Swinton, Jessie Murph, Wyatt Flores and others, 2026 is the year it all becomes undeniable.
